Benton Weizenegger
@bentonweizenegger
I build and validate embedded software, firmware, and hardware/software interfaces for real-world systems.
What I'm looking for
I built embedded Linux video-system workflows on Raspberry Pi 5 and custom FPGA peripherals with Linux drivers on the DE10-Nano SoC, covering architecture, validation, register-level debugging, and engineering documentation.
At MindPartner, I build data-ingestion support for iPhone HealthKit and wearable activity data, translating ambiguous requirements into data-access and integration workflows. As Lead Lab Assistant for Montana State University's microprocessor hardware/software labs, I helped students debug MSP430 firmware, peripheral setup, register-level issues, and lab hardware while developing example code.
I'm focused on embedded software, verification, and hardware/software integration, with hands-on work across C/C++, Python, embedded Linux, ESP32-S3, MSP430, FPGA interfaces, and requirements-driven testing.
