At Juniper Networks, I develop embedded Linux platform firmware for next-generation networking systems, from board bring-up through production release. My work includes board-support software, hardware initialization, and Ethernet platform functionality.
I developed Linux drivers and user-space services for connected sensors and hardware-management devices, and enhanced U-Boot with secure image verification and recovery paths. These updates reduced failed field-upgrade incidents by 25%.
At Garmin, I developed Embedded C firmware for wearable and GPS devices across production releases. I also developed peripheral drivers that reduced sensor-data acquisition latency by 35% and FreeRTOS task architectures that improved system responsiveness by 40%.
I’ve worked on OTA recovery, power management, and firmware testing, including Python/pytest validation suites integrated with Jenkins CI. I hold a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems from Saint Louis University.
