What I'm looking for

I seek collaborative, entrepreneurial teams where I can lead architecture and delivery of high-scale, distributed or blockchain systems, mentor engineers, and drive pragmatic quality.

I am a hands-on principal software engineer and software craftsman with deep expertise in distributed systems, blockchains, and pragmatic engineering practices. I focus on solving complex problems with clear, elegant designs and implementations.

Across startups and large organizations I have led architecture and implementation efforts for decentralized exchanges, geospatial asset systems, and high-scale streaming ad-serving platforms. I bring extensive experience in functional and object-oriented design, domain-driven design, TDD, and refactoring legacy systems.

I mentor and coach teams, instill test-driven practices, and bridge gaps between business and engineering to reveal what customers truly need. I prioritize simplicity, making small bets and iterating rapidly while maintaining high quality.

Technically, I am fluent in Javascript, Solidity, Scala, Java, Ruby, and Smalltalk, and experienced with cloud, containerization, messaging, search, and modern build/test tooling. I pursue lifelong learning and enjoy bringing new languages and domains into production-ready solutions.
