I’m a Staff/Principal Software Engineer with twelve years owning critical production systems—the person a platform can’t run without. I hold the whole system in my head, anticipate where changes can break “three steps away,” and stay close to the code while setting technical direction and coaching engineers around me.

Deep in distributed data infrastructure and AWS, I’ve led platform engineering and legacy modernization with strong production reliability. At Summit Professional Education, I served as the senior-most technical owner for a platform supporting 528K accounts and 3.5M+ enrollments—cutting a customer-facing B2B account page from ~10 minutes to under a minute, driving a migration off legacy Universe/Pick, and enabling Vue 2 to Vue 3 progress while improving operational health (roughly 300 server errors and 600+ Core Web Vitals issues addressed). I also build maintainable systems—event-driven workflows, CI/CD with code-review ownership, and reusable tooling—so knowledge lives in the repo, not just in my head.
