I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) with over 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, operations oversight, and organizational administration across financial institutions, SACCOs, and government ERP implementations. I’m known for driving business performance through budget ownership and oversight, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance management—while staying hands-on in day-to-day execution.
As an Operations / Accounting Officer at Stima Sacco Society, I provide end-to-end financial management and operational support across two Nairobi branch locations, balancing customer relations, vendor management, and administrative operations with strong governance. I oversee branch budgets end-to-end, prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management accounts in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements, and strengthen internal controls through process and policy standardization. I also supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, statutory deductions, and tax filings using iTax, maintain the fixed assets register on ERP, and coordinate receipting and allocations for members.
I’ve also delivered impact at scale as an ERP Functional Consultant on Oracle/IFMIS government implementations, coordinating with partners across the US, Kenya, and Ethiopia to customize Oracle Financials for procurement, fixed assets, budgeting, and receipting modules. I trained 100+ end-users, supported rollout and UAT across government sites, and helped reduce operational costs by 20% through automation and reengineering.
