What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own full-cycle accounting, deliver accurate financial reporting and variance analysis, and strengthen compliance/audit readiness—while continuing to progress my CPA credentials.

I’m an Accounting & Finance professional with 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across government and private sector environments. I’m skilled in AP/AR, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation, with a strong focus on accuracy and deadline management.

In my Finance Officer role, I supported annual revenue budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, and handled monthly bank and M-Pesa account reconciliations across multiple accounts. I also liaised with internal and external auditors, addressed audit controls and management letter findings, and helped maintain clean accounts payable records.

In operations-focused finance, I’ve overseen end-to-end financial management for community payment work—raising invoices, following payment timelines, reconciling cash dispatched vs. payments made, and submitting daily cash flow and reconciliation reports to headquarters. I currently pursue CPA Part I (In Progress) and bring advanced SAP/QuickBooks/iCMS/CCRS knowledge plus advanced Excel and strong stakeholder communication to every close and compliance activity.
