At KKCO East Africa LLP, I led the advisory team and developed finance and procurement policies for an NGO client that lacked formal documentation. I also maintained a risk matrix and built a management letter tracker to help management and the Board follow implementation progress.
I reviewed cash flow projections, management accounts, and budget-versus-actual reports for NGO and commercial clients. During funding shortfalls, I advised management and the Board on essential versus secondary expenditure.
I coordinated internal control follow-ups that contributed to a 98% audit score on implementation of recommended controls. I also supervised client onboarding to Xero and QuickBooks Online, checking prior-year data for accuracy and training clients and associates on accounting systems.
Earlier, at Bindip Ltd, I improved stock management through digital tracking and introduced mobile money payment controls. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from The Co-operative University of Kenya and have completed CPA Part II.
