What I'm looking for

I’m looking to bring my interpretation skills to a team where I can support clear communication for clients through medical, legal, and community OPI and VRI services.

At Language Services Associates, I provide real-time English–Amharic and English–Tigrinya interpretation for medical, legal, and community calls through InterpreCloud. I also freelance with TransPerfect, delivering over-the-phone interpretation for medical, legal, and social service calls using SingleComm.

Previously, I provided VRI interpretation and OPI support at Cloudbreak / Equiti (via Alfa Systems & Akorbi) for healthcare, benefits programs, courts, insurance, education, and mental health services. I work in Amharic, Tigrinya, and English, and bring training in medical interpretation, HIPAA, Medicare compliance, cybersecurity awareness, and cultural competency.
