What I'm looking for

I seek a research/academic role that leverages GIS, hydrology, and M&E skills in an internationally collaborative environment with opportunities for teaching, publication, and applied impact.

I am an Assistant Professor and researcher with a PhD in Cartography and GIS from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, combining academic teaching, research, and applied GIS/M&E experience to solve water-resources and environmental challenges. I have led curriculum development, supervised projects, published peer-reviewed research on evapotranspiration and hydrological modeling, and built data-driven spatial products using R, Python, MATLAB, GEE, ArcMap/QGIS and related tools.

I bring practical program and editorial leadership from roles in academia, international organizations, and donor-funded projects, including USAID and UNESCO-related initiatives, with strengths in monitoring & evaluation, big-data platform support, grant writing, and multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering, hydrology, and heritage conservation.
