I am Evariste Umba-Tsumbu, a dedicated PhD candidate in Metallurgy at the University of Johannesburg, with a strong academic background in chemistry. My journey began with a BSc and BSc (Hons) from the University of Kinshasa, followed by an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Cape Town. My research focuses on innovative solutions in drug development and environmental sustainability, particularly in the context of artisanal mining.
