What I'm looking for

I’m interested in contributing my operational border and trade compliance expertise to international businesses, logistics organizations, and trade consulting firms, particularly in customs compliance, import/export operations, cross-border business development, or hospitality and tourism across the Americas.

At the Canada Border Services Agency, I conduct commercial inspections and regulatory reviews of import and export shipments, applying tariff classification, valuation, and trade documentation review to support compliance with Canadian customs legislation and international trade agreements.

I also process immigration cases, including refugee claims and admissibility assessments, and investigate fraudulent commercial declarations and immigration documentation. Before my government career, I directed operations at Hotel Le Bergerac in San José and operated its affiliated travel agency; I’m interested in bringing my trade and border expertise to international businesses, logistics organizations, or trade consulting firms.
