Atul Bajaj

I have played multiple roles like COO-IT, CTO, CDO, Transformation and Digitalization Consultant, Leadership and Change Management coach, HR Leader, Product and Program Manager, Analyst, and Developer for a team, BU and a region, for GICs like American Express, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Western Union across India and Philippines. And prior to that, I worked as IT consultant in India, UK and USA. 

As an organization leader, I have developed special interest and expertise in the areas of CoE creation, Operating Models, Capability Building, Performance and Talent Management, Program Management and Sustainable Organization Design.  

Over many years, the generic goals that I have worked towards are in the areas of Transformations, Customer Experience, Delivery, Operations, People and Process Excellence. During 2000-2010, I extensively worked with efficiency levers of intrinsic motivation (Autonomy, Purpose and Mastery), D&I, in-sourcing / outsourcing, off-shoring, CoE creation, process simplification and tool standardization, and in 2010-2023, I am leveraging additional levers like

 • Global operating models to bring Tech, Product and Operations together for agility

• New org design to accommodate emerging roles and enhance accountability and collaboration

• Millennial and Manager Connect to address perceptions of impatience and instant gratification

· Innovation as a culture as best comes from everywhere

• Learning Culture with due focus on leadership and emerging technology skills

I also take up additional responsibilities like building and developing University Outreach Programs, and managing external relations with industry bodies and government agencies. At JPMC and Wells Fargo, I headed the GIC centers and represented the firms externally. I also held advisory positions like Board member at JNTU’s School of Information Technology, Management Committee member of HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Export Association) for many years.
