Atsushi Kawaguch

I’m currently a Professor at Momoyama Gakuin University, focused on higher education and キャリアカウンセリング. Since April 2024, I’ve been supporting learners through guidance grounded in practical experience and academic training.

My academic career began as a Lecturer (March 2016 – March 2019), then I advanced to Associate Professor (April 2019 – March 2024). Across these roles, I’ve built deep teaching and student-support experience, with a consistent emphasis on counseling and development.

I also served as a Visiting Professor at La Trobe University (April 2020 – March 2021). This period strengthened my international perspective and helped me bring new approaches to instruction and learner support.

Before joining university teaching, I worked in education administration and classroom teaching, including Shijonawate City Board of Education Supervisor (April 2011 – March 2016) and Shijonawate city Social Studies Teacher (April 2004 – March 2011). I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education (Guidance and Counseling) from 関西学院大学 / Kwansei Gakuin University, and I bring that guidance and counseling foundation into every learning environment.
