Kentaro Imai
@kentaroimai
I’m an LLM evaluator (RLHF) and Japanese-native language specialist delivering culturally precise AI training data.
What I'm looking for
I bring 20+ years spanning game development, magazine publishing, and digital content production, with a strong focus on Japanese-language writing quality and cultural nuance. I'm a scenario writer with a credited byline on Higurashi When They Cry, and I also develop learning materials—most notably designing N High School's inaugural creative-writing cultural curriculum.
After the pandemic, I added hands-on welfare and education experience—disability group home support, elderly caregiving, and weekly special-needs classroom assistance—to deepen the real-world perspective behind my work at the intersection of welfare, education, and technology.
Alongside this, I've worked hands-on as an AI Evaluator on RLHF-style tasks through DataAnnotation, applying the same editorial judgment I've used for two decades to assess honorifics, register shifts, and dialectal nuance in AI-generated Japanese text. I am currently available for remote AI evaluation and Japanese-language content projects where linguistic precision is paramount.
