Since 2017, I’ve provided English-to-Swahili and Swahili-to-English translation as a Freelance Translator & Linguistic Consultant. My work includes medical reports, pharmaceutical leaflets, and health awareness materials, drawing on my Bachelor of Pharmacy background.
I also translate educational materials, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry curricula and teaching aids. I proofread and edit translations for grammatical accuracy and cultural relevance.
At Academic Achievement International School, where I currently teach Mathematics, I’m involved in translating and adapting international curriculum materials into Swahili when needed to support student comprehension.
My education includes a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) and a Diploma in Secondary Education (Physics & Chemistry) from Coastal Teachers Training College. I work with Swahili syntax, grammar, and localized terminology, and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for document formatting.
