What I'm looking for
I am an experienced and passionate Kiswahili teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience at both secondary and post-secondary levels. My strong background in curriculum development and creative lesson planning allows me to deliver engaging and effective instruction. I am dedicated to promoting the Kiswahili language and literature while integrating cultural, historical, and contemporary contexts into my teaching.
Throughout my career, I have achieved a remarkable 95% pass rate for my students in NECTA exams. I have organized language clubs and debates to encourage active use of Kiswahili, and I have developed teaching aids that incorporate ICT to enhance the learning experience. As a part-time lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam, I also supervise undergraduate dissertations related to Kiswahili literature, further contributing to the academic community.
