What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a remote frontend engineering role where I can own meaningful parts of the product, not just ticket work. Ideally a team that ships fast, cares about performance and code quality, and gives engineers room to think, not just execute. Open to full-time roles or long-term contracts with startups and growth-stage companies building real products.

I'm a frontend engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria, specializing in React, Next.js 15, and React Native. Over the past 3+ years I've worked across production web and mobile apps, from e-commerce platforms and real-time delivery systems to AI-powered tools and real estate products.

At POLOM, I co-owned frontend development across a 4-app ecosystem (customer web/mobile, driver, admin, branch manager), integrating Google Maps APIs across 20+ screens, migrating to TanStack Query to cut initial load time from 4.2s to 1.8s, and reducing component render overhead by 40% through memoization and request deduplication.

Outside of client work, I build: ApplyCraft (AI job tracker with Supabase RLS and server-only AI endpoints), and I've delivered freelance projects including a full production Next.js site with a RAG-powered AI chat agent built on the Claude API.
