I'm a mechanical engineer designing products, simulations, and embedded automation systems.
What I'm looking for
I've redesigned production equipment at Future Fibres Lanka, including a SolidWorks bobbin winding tensioner that improved yarn tension consistency and reduced thread breakage through fabrication and live testing. I also built an ESP32-based temperature and humidity monitoring system with ThingSpeak cloud logging for production zones.
My mechanical engineering work spans CAD modelling, manufacturing systems, FEA, and biomechanical design. For an active knee exoskeleton, I used a genetic algorithm to achieve 0.47 mm mean tracking error for the human knee ICR and developed decentralised Bowden cable actuation for gait assistance.
I'm interested in applying mechanical design, embedded systems, and process optimisation to practical engineering challenges.
