What I'm looking for

I’m moving into AI engineering and want to apply hands-on AI coding agent experience alongside my production background in reliability, security and delivery in regulated public sector and financial environments.

At Digi2al Ltd, I’ve worked on the Royal Navy’s scheduling service from discovery through live delivery, helping deliver the MVP and subsequent releases. As Tech Lead Java Developer, I’ve personally led more than 10 releases into an air-gapped SECRET environment.

I work hands-on across Java and Spring Boot microservices, Python and Node.js services, and a React front end. I containerised the services with Docker and Docker Compose for Kubernetes deployment, and managed database changes through Liquibase.

Over the past year, I’ve used Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and JetBrains Junie in day-to-day implementation, testing, refactoring and debugging. I’m now moving into AI engineering, drawing on production experience with reliability, security and delivery in regulated public sector and financial environments.

Earlier, at Experian, I was lead developer on an online web monitoring service built from scratch as a REST API, integrating third-party data patrol functionality. I’ve also led and mentored developers, including in technical lead roles at Barclays and BNY Mellon.
