Trauma-informed psychology professional and team lead delivering research, clinical support, and service improvement after sexual violence.
What I'm looking for
I’m a psychology professional combining trauma-informed practice with research and service improvement. I’ve delivered psychoeducation and therapies including CBT, CFT, and Safety & Stabilisation skills, while also producing reports for stakeholders such as the Scottish Government and national programmes.
Most recently, I’ve been a Team Lead to teams providing emotional & advocacy support to those impacted by sexual violence. In that role, I produced service reports, supported service improvement through consultancy and training around sexual violence and trauma, and led monitoring and evaluation of services—alongside supervision and line management.
Alongside clinical and leadership work, I’ve conducted research in remote and in-person roles, developing genocide prevention projects and producing literature reviews on sexual violence, psycho-social support, and transgenerational trauma. I also contribute through workshops and conferences, and have published a systematic review and meta-analysis on Narrative Exposure Therapy for refugee/asylum-seeker trauma-related outcomes.
