What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an early-career role where I can apply data analysis and software development to automate reporting, improve business processes, and collaborate with teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

I’m passionate about software development, data analysis, and process optimization, and I thrive on turning ideas into reality. My experience combines hands-on technical work with stakeholder-focused analysis, so I can both build solutions and explain impact clearly.

At the University of Cape Town, I supported research as a Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit (AIRU), where I performed qualitative analysis of STGNNs models for traffic prediction. I also served as a Computer Science Tutor for over 100 first- and final-year students, strengthening my technical communication through targeted feedback, debugging support, and reinforcement of best practices.

As a Business Analyst Intern, I used BPMN modeling and root-cause analysis to identify inefficiencies in a consultant search process and quantify errors. I designed and built a functional prototype for consultant selection and management using Python and Streamlit, then proposed a TO-BE process integrating with Sage and Maconomy to cut selection time to under 30 minutes and reduce error rate to below 5%; I also developed reporting dashboards to track KPI performance. My honours project further complements this by applying deep learning and visualization—using PyTorch, Unity, and Python—to uncover insights beyond standard metrics in traffic forecasting.
