Apolonia Chiarello
@apoloniachiarello
GIS technician specializing in utility data QA/QC and precise geospatial editing.
What I'm looking for
I’m a GIS Technician II focused on keeping utility datasets accurate and audit-ready. I verify and review utility field records—including as-built drawings, historical documents, and mapping/survey data—then digitize and maintain geometric and attribute data in Smallworld and Esri ArcGIS Pro.
Alongside GIS work, I bring strong technical discipline from my Research Assistant experience, where I performed lab duties for client projects (including DNA extraction and PCR Assays) and kept projects moving by compiling and organizing data and coordinating lab and greenhouse schedules. I enjoy hands-on quality control, data validation, and improving datasets through careful edits, queries, and QA/QC.
