At Critical Software, I wrote requirements and designed, implemented, and executed verification tests for VxWorks file-system components. I also developed test suites for onboard rail components within a formal, safety-critical lifecycle.
At Critical Software, I also worked as a Full-Stack Developer on applications used to manage Portuguese government elections, where correctness and auditability mattered.
Earlier, I built an integration application at Mira Systems / VESAM Engenharia to connect an ERP platform with stock management, allowing inventory data to flow between the systems without manual re-entry. At Let's Call, I extended a QuickBooks invoice-import integration and contributed to SMSBUZZ and a Contact Center application.
My PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Universidade de Coimbra included the Emotion Driven Music Engine, a real-time system for generating and transforming music to express target emotions. I also applied Support Vector Machines and linear regression to classify affective content.
