What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a hybrid or remote role in the EU, preferably hybrid in Lisbon, where I can use my C++ expertise while growing Rust in production. I’m interested in Rust and C++ systems, infrastructure, trading, or embedded work.

At Critical Software, I lead a team of eight maintaining and extending BMW’s BOOSTER Software-in-the-Loop simulation tool. I reduced simulation runtime by 25% through parallelization and memory optimization, and owned a Jenkins and Bazel CI pipeline that decreased build times by 30%.

On BMW’s MGU 21/22 Head Unit, I implemented a real-time navigation rendering pipeline and fixed more than 50 critical race conditions. I also developed and tested safety-critical components for Bombardier railway products, applying SIL2 practices and participating in ISO 26262 and CENELEC audits.

I’ve developed embedded lighting-control firmware and tactical communication product features, alongside hardware-software integration work. I’m building Rust projects while studying async and unsafe patterns, and I contribute small pull requests to clap and anyhow.
