Alexander Brown

I hold a Master’s degree in Systems Medicine from Georgetown University, where I developed a strong foundation in systems biology, data analysis, and translational research. My academic work has explored complex biological interactions such as the gut-brain axis in neurodegenerative disease, alongside broader interests in bioengineering and emerging medical technologies.

In parallel, I am a licensed Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist with hands-on patient care experience. I have worked in clinical settings performing venipuncture, assisting with procedures, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments. These experiences have strengthened my ability to operate under pressure, communicate effectively with patients, and contribute to efficient clinical workflows.

My long-term goal is to become a physician and contribute to the intersection of medicine, technology, and national defense. I am particularly interested in developing and applying advanced systems—whether in healthcare infrastructure, clinical data analysis, or high-stakes operational environments—that improve decision-making, resilience, and outcomes. This includes an interest in how data science, bioinformatics, and emerging technologies can be leveraged to support both patient care and broader mission-driven objectives.

I am seeking opportunities where I can continue to build clinical experience, contribute meaningfully to patient care, and further develop technical and analytical skills.
