@richaaryal
Cybersecurity engineer focused on application security, threat detection, and risk mitigation.
What I'm looking for
I am a Cyber Security Engineering graduate with hands-on experience in application security, vulnerability management, and secure software practices. I completed an internship in application security where I tracked vulnerabilities, conducted static scans, led a phishing campaign, and helped construct PII security standards.
My academic work includes a senior design project on explainable AI using decentralized DLT and LRP, which received a Best Paper award for AI/ML in Cyber Security, and practical labs on password cracking, HTTP certificate hardening, and RSA encryption. I am proficient with tools such as Fortify, BlackDuck, Kali Linux, Azure, AWS, and Hashcat.
I bring strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, plus cross-functional experience meeting with stakeholders and upper management to drive remediation and clarify requirements aligned to NIST control families.
