What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and validate security systems across offensive security, detection engineering, incident response, application security, and cloud infrastructure, where I can turn real attack paths into measurable defensive improvements.

I've built browser-native intrusion detection labs at Penn State using v86, WebAssembly, Buildroot, Snort, and JavaScript networking, training 50+ students without local virtualization or cloud lab infrastructure. At CableLabs, I designed L3/L4/L7 DDoS simulations, enhanced DIS platform APIs, and built automated firewall mitigation capabilities.

Previously at KPMG, I led 10+ purple-team engagements, identified 150+ vulnerabilities, deployed SIEM-integrated deception capabilities, and responded to incidents through Splunk SOAR and Palo Alto XSOAR. I bring hands-on penetration testing, detection engineering, cloud security, secure code review, and security automation experience across AWS, Azure, Python, PowerShell, Java, and JavaScript.

Research Assistant

Built a browser-based Intrusion Detection lab with v86, WebAssembly, and Buildroot, and implemented a JavaScript Layer 2 bridge for VM communication. Developed randomized Snort IDS lab scenarios and a CI/CD deployment pipeline, and presented the lab at the CAE Symposium.
