I am a dedicated Certified Ophthalmic Assistant with a strong background in patient education and clinical support. Graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Administration from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, I have consistently maintained a GPA of 3.7 and earned recognition as an Honor Student on the Dean’s List. My commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by my certifications, including Basic Life Support and CPR, as well as my upcoming certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant in 2024.

In my current role at Grossnickle Eye Center, I conduct comprehensive patient workups for cataract evaluations and diabetic eye exams, ensuring that patients are well-informed about their treatment options. My experience extends to collaborating with pharmaceutical representatives and managing medical supplies efficiently. I take pride in educating patients about their eye care needs, which has significantly enhanced their confidence in decision-making regarding treatments and procedures.

Previously, I have worked at Danville Family Eyecare and Midwest Eye Institute, where I honed my skills in optical sales and assisted in various ophthalmic procedures. My ability to train and mentor new staff has been a rewarding aspect of my career, allowing me to contribute to a positive team environment while ensuring high standards of patient care.
