Ophthalmic Technician and scribe with 10+ years delivering high-quality patient care and advanced diagnostics.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Ophthalmic Technician and Scribe with over 10 years of experience providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality medical services. I’m motivated, organized, and focused on accurate, patient-centered support across the ophthalmology workflow.
In my current role at NYU Langone Department of Ophthalmology, I use advanced ophthalmology tools and skills, with an emphasis on OCT, visual fields, and IOL Master. I schedule cataract surgery aftercare and education, administer refraction, and provide extensive contact lens knowledge and instructions, while supporting non-invasive procedures and obtaining consent forms as necessary.
Previously at Northwell Health and other ophthalmology practices, I assisted physicians with medical record documentation, transcribed histories and exams, and supported treatment plan documentation under physician direction. I also handled clinical support and administrative medical records coordination (including visual acuity, treatments, and diagnostic care), while maintaining sterile technique and infection control during laser and minor surgical assistance.
