What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead student financial aid operations in higher education—owning Title IV compliance, guiding teams, and optimizing aid systems to deliver accurate, timely support for students and families.

I’m a Director of Financial Aid with Garrett College, serving since 7/2019 and overseeing the daily operation of the Financial Aid Office. I maintain regulatory processes to meet federal, state, and regional compliance, train staff on processes and regulations, and respond to internal and external audits as required.

I also ensure financial aid management software systems stay compliant with new regulations—overseeing PowerFaids, Jenzabar, COD, eCDR, EdConnect, and NSLDS—so records are ready to receive/process and awards are made accurately. Before my current role, I served as Interim Director and Assistant Director, and earlier as a Financial Aid Counselor, where I managed verification, Pell and federal funding reconciliation, cohort default rate efforts, and scholarship awarding. I bring a Master of Science in Higher Education & Student Learning Success and hold Certified Financial Aid Administrator credentials (expires 5/2026).
