What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a role where I can apply my environmental sustainability expertise and community outreach passion—using qualitative research, education, and workshop facilitation to support equitable access, strengthen communication, and help communities understand and manage their resources.

I’m a community-focused professional combining environmental sustainability, qualitative research, and hands-on education. I recently earned my Master of Science in Resilient and Sustainable Communities, and I’m energized by roles that connect people to practical, mission-driven change.

In my current role as a Master Peer Writing Tutor at Prescott College Writing and Tutoring Center, I support a diverse student population by strengthening academic papers and written communication. I provide sensitive, virtual one-on-one tutoring for undergraduate and master’s-level students, and I plan and facilitate writing workshops for 60–80 participants per year—helping students build confidence, retention, and belonging.

Alongside education, I’ve been conducting community research through my work as a WaterSIMmersive Community Researcher for Arizona State University. I conducted qualitative research to create museum exhibits in rural Arizona, co-created an interview script grounded in local water policy and infrastructure, and coordinated 30+ interviews with community members—intentionally including those historically underrepresented in environmental justice conversations.

My sustainability and outreach experience is equally hands-on: I deployed permaculture techniques to plan and nurture campus gardens, supported composting efforts, and co-facilitated environmental education programming for local elementary students. I also bring strong administrative and communication strengths—grant-oriented learning, Google Workspace proficiency, workshop/event facilitation, research skills, and clear written communication—so I can contribute effectively to both community initiatives and organizational goals.
