What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my environmental engineering expertise and bilingual sustainability communication to measurable impact—supporting water, waste, and ESG work in teams that value clear writing, structured timelines, and practical learning.

I’m a sustainability subject matter expert with a graduate background in environmental and resource management, and hands-on hybrid teaching experience at the university level. I translate complex environmental engineering ideas into clear, accessible learning materials for diverse adult learners. I’m also comfortable working through structured editorial timelines and multi-stakeholder review cycles.

As an Assistant Professor, I taught Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Science, and Fluid Mechanics in a hybrid format to undergraduate students. I regularly designed and graded exams, quizzes, and written assignments aligned to course learning outcomes, and I guided student research projects on sustainable waste management and water treatment while maintaining project records and overseeing water sample collection. I bring strong technical and plain-language writing skills, reinforced by published peer-reviewed research.

More recently, as a Sustainability Organizer Intern, I supported communications for 10+ statewide climate workshops and webinars on heat resilience, clean energy, and climate migration. I developed 40+ digital assets, including bilingual (English–Spanish) newsletter content and coalition toolkits, and I helped deliver monthly newsletters reaching 1,000+ subscribers. I also coordinated post-event communications for 500+ participants and edited 25+ short-form videos to extend digital reach across coalition platforms.

Alongside teaching and communications, I’ve done practical engineering support work with a compliance-first mindset. At the City of Enid, I used ArcGIS, Microsoft Office 365, and AutoCAD to determine watershed boundaries and support report preparation, documentation assembly, and testing, while managing safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Earlier roles in process operations and junior quality control strengthened my attention to accuracy, service-level reliability, regulatory compliance, and corrective action.
