I’m a dedicated Occupational Health Technician and Phlebotomist with over 14 years of frontline ambulance experience and 7+ years performing venipunctures and capillary draws. I focus on patient comfort and safety, delivering accurate sample collection, processing, and transportation while strictly following health and safety regulations.

In my recent work at Network Rail, I conducted telephone-based health surveillance assessments for a large national workforce, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards. I collected and documented medical histories, exposure information, and symptom data for fitness-for-work decisions, while maintaining confidential electronic health records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.

I also bring field experience from mobile screening roles, including the Our Future Health research programme, where I performed venipuncture and capillary sampling, recorded clinical observations (including blood pressure, height, weight, BMI), supported informed consent, and ensured correct labelling and secure sample transportation. With a proven track record in high-stress healthcare environments, I’m willing to undertake training to further develop my current skillset.
