I am a Senior Data Engineer at Mercado Libre, serving as the technical focal point for Checkout Pro, Plugins & Platforms, and Shipping OP. I joined in 2022 as one of the first data professionals dedicated exclusively to the Checkout Pro product, and in 2025 I expanded my scope to the other two.
I have been working remotely since 2020—at DM with teams in Brazil, and since 2022 at Mercado Libre with teams distributed across Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.
In 2024, I led the migration of the Checkout Pro infrastructure to a data mesh architecture, refactoring pipelines and optimizing costs. During this period, I also co-led technical training sessions in Spanish for software engineers from other countries regarding our data platform and culture.
My stack includes Python, SQL, BigQuery, GCP, Terraform, and Monte Carlo. I hold a degree in Computer Science from Unifesp - Federal University of São Paulo, a specialization in Data Engineering from PUC Minas - Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, and I am a certified Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
