Amrita Gurung

I trained as a Doctor of Dental Medicine and built a strong foundation through hands-on clinical education in oral hygiene and patient support. I’m also AHA certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and I bring calm, prepared care into every appointment.

As a Dental Hygienist at Bluebird International Clinic, I delivered patient counseling and supported preventive care across “Patient Counseling,” “Oral Hygiene,” “Scaling,” “Polishing,” “Radiography,” and “Impression taking.” I also educated patients on proper oral hygiene practices, helping them understand what to do next for better outcomes.

During my internships and comprehensive field practice at Kantipur Dental College Teaching Hospital and Research Center, I worked through real clinical routines over “24 weeks,” collaborated with senior dentists on complex cases, and helped manage patient appointments and records. I gained experience through assisting and supporting treatment workflows as an “Intern (Dentist)” and “Dental hygienist intern.”

Earlier experience outside dentistry strengthened how I communicate and adapt under pressure. From roles like “Customer Service Agent” and “Ground hostess,” I developed strong listening, customer support, and teamwork habits—so I can keep patients comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their visits.
