Developed an interpretable VQ-VAE for single-cell RNA-seq batch correction, matching scVI on batch mixing and cell-type conservation over a 161k-cell cohort. Trained the model at atlas scale and demonstrated near-zero leakage on out-of-distribution protocols.

Built a predictive machine learning pipeline using XGBoost to forecast drug-resistant mutations in M. tuberculosis with a 0.971 AUROC. Integrated population homoplasy data with AlphaFold structural features and validated against 12,287 clinical isolates.

Developed full-stack features using Django, Three.js, WebSockets, and Celery for a 3D high-dimensional data platform, shipping 26 merged PRs and 400+ commits. Built a 2.5D map engine and led the Celery-based Materialization Pipeline.

Raised over $23,000 to support underprivileged children's education, equivalent to a year's education for 166 children. Invited to speak at national fundraising events and recognized as top fundraiser for the youth cohort twice.

Led patrols, organized community service projects, and mentored younger scouts in leadership and civic responsibility. Current Life Scout with Eagle Scout expected by mid 2027.

Co-authored a framework for per-modality failure analysis in multimodal clinical AI, engineering a reusable evaluation harness with mask-aware probes. Validated the framework on frozen EchoJEPA and HuBERT-ECG embeddings over a MIMIC-IV cohort.

Built an automated in silico pipeline for BBB-penetrant peptide design targeting EGFRvIII in glioblastoma. Identified a top-ranked cyclized Angiopep-2/GE11 fusion candidate through structural prediction and docking.

Assisted a gastroenterologist in patient consultations, observing diagnostic workflows and treatment planning. Gained hands-on exposure to clinical procedures including endoscopic techniques and biopsy collection.
