At Mater Academy Davenport, I designed and taught four distinct courses for students in grades 6–8. I independently developed full-year curricula for Literature in Media, Creative Writing, Psychology I, and Speech & Debate.
I built Literature in Media around film, podcasts, and digital texts to teach media literacy, critical analysis, and argumentative writing. In Creative Writing, I led workshops in fiction, poetry, and personal narrative using peer review and portfolio assessment.
At Allan Hancock College, I served students through academic, personal, and professional growth programming. I collaborated with the program director on workshops and supervised and trained student workers.
My earlier experience includes supporting students with admissions, outreach, course registration, and FAFSA guidance, as well as substitute teaching. I’ve also worked in office coordination and resident experience roles.
