What I'm looking for

I seek a data science or computer-vision role in healthcare/medical imaging where I can apply ML and biomedical engineering skills to build impactful diagnostic tools and grow in research-driven teams.

I am an aspiring data scientist and systems engineer combining biomedical engineering training with hands-on AI and computer vision experience. I have built multiple end-to-end projects—spanning hand-vein authentication, face recognition, blood-clot origin classification, and medical risk prediction—using Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV and PyQt.

My academic background includes a Bachelor's in Systems and Biomedical Engineering and ongoing Master's studies in Data Science at University of Milano-Bicocca. I completed a biomedical equipment calibration traineeship where I gained practical calibration and maintenance experience for X-ray, ECG, ultrasound and other clinical devices.

I bring solid software development fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms), strong data analysis skills (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn), and fluency in Python and C/C++. I am motivated to apply computer vision and ML expertise to improve medical imaging workflows and diagnostic tools.
