At Lilongwe Handling Company Limited, I assisted passengers with check-in, travel documents, baggage, boarding passes, and flight information. I also helped resolve baggage issues and supported passengers who needed additional assistance.
I worked with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to assist migrants with voluntary return from Malawi, coordinating airport services, documentation, luggage, escorts, and special services.
My airport work also included coordinating with airport stakeholders on security, supporting baggage screening and transfer operations, and following safety procedures. I completed training in passenger handling, aviation security, airside safety, dangerous goods, and emergency response.
Earlier, as a Programme Assistant (Internship) at Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace, I contributed to project proposals, work plans, reports, and administrative and logistical support. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Communications) from The Catholic University of Malawi.
