At Center for Research and Advanced Studies (Cinvestav), SANAS Lab, I designed and developed a dual-configuration UAV system, leading its conceptual and detailed design phases. I used MATLAB for aerodynamic and structural analysis to evaluate performance against target specifications.
I also conducted testing and validation, supported troubleshooting, and maintained reports, technical data, and design updates.
At Metropolitan Polytechnic University of Hidalgo, I supported the design and manufacturing of a morphing wing system using SolidWorks and CATIA. I contributed to a structural redesign, used MATLAB simulation analysis, and built a custom 3D-printed test bench for loading tests.
Earlier at Center for Research and Advanced Studies (Cinvestav), SANAS Lab, I redesigned a UAV platform with a focus on aerodynamic performance, system integration, propeller sizing, and propulsion configuration. I developed Model-in-the-Loop simulation models using Plane Maker and ran flight simulations in MATLAB and X-Plane; I also co-authored a conference presentation on coaxial hexarotor UAV propulsion sizing and flight validation.
