What I'm looking for

I am seeking internships or entry-level engineering roles that combine mechanical design and autonomous systems, with collaborative teams that offer mentorship and hands-on project responsibility.

I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate with a developing minor in Computer Science and practical experience in aerospace, construction, and autonomous systems. My coursework includes Fluid Mechanics, Design & Manufacturing, Computational Engineering, and Dynamics and Vibration.

I have completed virtual aerospace work experience where I learned airport operations, aircraft design, manufacturing processes, and fundamental electrical and digital technologies. I also interned with a construction firm in Lagos, gaining exposure to civil engineering, architectural design, quantity surveying, data analysis, and on-site teamwork.

On academic projects, I participated in an Extended Project Qualification combining primary and secondary research, and I helped implement a ROS2 autonomous kart control system with Gazebo simulation and Zephyr RTOS for control testing. I have developed software, simulations, and control testing workflows as part of that project.

I bring advanced SolidWorks and 2D design skills, programming experience in Python, MATLAB and C, and strong communication and leadership from multiple student leadership roles. I am eager to apply my mix of mechanical design, software, and hands-on engineering experience to internships or entry-level engineering roles.
