Alden Batistyutta

I’m a Malayalam linguist and translator focused on bridging human language quality with AI-ready language resources. With an M.A. in Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, I build translation and localization outputs that stay faithful to meaning, tone, and context—whether the work is literary, academic, or AI-driven.

In my recent roles, I’ve worked on AI language and dataset development through linguistic annotation, quality evaluation, and content editing. At Kriya NextWealth, I annotate and label image datasets for machine learning, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and dataset quality for model training and validation. At Ola Krutrim (AI Division), I supported Malayalam dataset creation by conducting linguistic quality assurance, reviewing and editing machine-generated Malayalam content for fluency and contextual correctness, and collaborating with cross-functional NLP teams.

I also bring a strong editorial and cultural translation background. I’ve contributed translations between English and Malayalam for Kochi-Muziris Biennale-related publications, translated and edited literary work (“Coffin Man”), and subtitled the Malayalam documentary “Pozhi.” Through the Kochi Biennale Foundation, I worked on curatorial and exhibition content to support multilingual access, alongside editorial internships at Kerala Bhasha Institute and Deshabhimani Varika.

I’m at my best when I can evaluate language data analytically and refine language outputs with precision. I enjoy working independently while keeping quality high through disciplined workflows—so teams receive reliable linguistic inputs and publication-ready content.
