Akash Sinha

I’m a Computer Science undergraduate specializing in Data Science at VIT Vellore, passionate about building AI-powered products, backend systems, and automation-driven applications that solve real-world problems. I enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering, data systems, and intelligent workflows, with hands-on experience in Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, Flask, OpenAI APIs, Gemini APIs, Docker, and workflow automation tools like n8n. Alongside academics, I actively strengthen my problem-solving skills through DSA in C++ and technical interview preparation.

I’ve built projects across AI, fintech, automation, and full-stack development. Some of my key projects include an AI Travel Planner Telegram Bot that generates personalized itineraries using OpenAI APIs and automated workflows, a Smart Pantry Manager with real-time inventory tracking and AI-powered recipe suggestions, and Invesim, a financial simulator designed to improve financial literacy through salary allocation and investment modeling. I’ve also developed a modular Binance Trading Bot CLI with structured logging and fault-tolerant API handling, along with security-focused and AI-assisted applications like AuthentiGuard and Kisan Setu.

Beyond projects, I’ve completed a software engineering internship focused on real-time APIs and performance optimization, participated in hackathons like Adobe Hackathon, Walmart Sparkathon, Synapse’25, and SIH’24, and currently serve as a Senior Core Member at SEDS VIT. I’m particularly interested in building scalable AI-integrated software, backend systems, and production-ready applications that combine strong engineering fundamentals with practical real-world impact.
