Nitish R Bavalatti

I’m a software engineering student building AI-powered applications, backend systems, and real-time web experiences. I work across FastAPI and Flask REST APIs, Socket.IO streaming, and cloud deployment with AWS EC2 and Docker, with a focus on turning AI research into usable products.

I’ve built projects like a real-time 3D space-debris monitoring dashboard visualizing 500+ orbital objects on a CesiumJS globe, alongside Graph Neural Network models trained and evaluated with PyTorch Geometric for collision-risk estimation. I also developed an AI virtual stand-up performer with Gemini and ElevenLabs and an end-to-end FastAPI backend for low-latency, context-aware comedy generation. Beyond projects, I’ve published research on the impact of ChatGPT in education, and I bring disciplined engineering through prompt engineering, evaluation/logging workflows, and pytest-based testing.
