What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead mission-driven research and advocacy work—turning open data and field-informed evidence into actionable policy, partnerships, and public accountability, with rigorous ethical standards and strong cross-cultural coalition-building.

I’m an interdisciplinary researcher, medical doctor, and human rights advocate with over a decade of experience bridging clinical expertise, social research, and policy analysis across the MENA region and Europe.

As Co-Founder & Executive Manager of Open Data Bank (Berlin), I lead research methodology, supervise data collection and validation, manage compliance with EU data protection and ethical standards, and translate findings into publications, policy briefs, and advocacy materials.

I’ve coordinated and conducted regional research through roles such as Researcher & Coordinator for the MENA Prison Forum and Coordinator/Spokesperson for the Egyptian Coalition for Rights and Freedoms, building coalitions, engaging media and international partners, and amplifying marginalized voices through multilingual reporting and international advocacy.
