I've strengthened risk controls across Deutsche Bank's Corporate, Investment Banking, and Private Bank businesses, leading risk-based audits across Continental Europe and contributing to global reviews covering the US and Asia.
Over more than 17 years in banking risk management, I've analyzed global credit portfolios exceeding USD 400 billion for multinational corporates, sovereigns, and financial institutions. My work spans financial analysis, rating assessment, risk mitigation, internal controls, credit default provisions, portfolio monitoring, market risk, and RWA monitoring.
At Deutsche Bank, I led a six-person Vendor Risk Management team, developed an Enterprise Risk Management framework, and improved vendor onboarding from 250 to 50 days. I also reduced risk-assessment turnaround time from more than 20 days to approximately seven days.
Most recently, I managed expenditures and financial reporting for an EU funded program “EU4Culture” across six Eastern Partnership countries. I bring experience working with senior stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams in Arabic, English, German, and French.
