Ahmad Mustafa

I’m a GIS and Remote Sensing specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in Space Sciences, currently pursuing an M.Phil. in Remote Sensing & GIS. I focus on advanced spatial analysis, satellite image processing, geospatial modelling, and machine learning for Earth-observation data.

In my GIS Analyst work, I develop and implement geospatial data processing pipelines for applications in urban planning, environmental monitoring, and resource management. I build GIS-based solutions for spatial analysis, modeling, and visualization, and I perform vegetation analysis using NDVI and other spectral indices from multispectral drone and satellite imagery.

I also work extensively with multisource data—processing point clouds (LiDAR/drone) to extract trees, terrain, and infrastructure features, and integrating remote sensing data through tools like Pix4D, QGIS, ArcGIS, and Python-based libraries such as GDAL and Rasterio. I design and manage geodatabases, set up data validation and QA/QC workflows, and create 3D GIS models and terrain visualizations for decision support.

Right now, I’m continuing this work at GEOMAO TECH (PVT.) LTD. in Lahore by collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data for mapping, planning, and decision-making. I combine ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine with spatial analysis, georeferencing, digitization, and land use/land cover mapping—while supporting teams and stakeholders with thematic maps, risks, patterns, and technical GIS outputs.
