I’m looking for a role where I can turn satellite and GIS data into accurate, actionable maps and reports—using modern geospatial tools to support environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster-focused decision-making with strong emphasis on accuracy and reproducibility.

I’m a GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist with over 3 years of professional experience in geospatial analysis, satellite imagery interpretation, and spatial data management. I specialize in delivering accurate, actionable insights using modern geospatial technologies for environmental monitoring, urban planning, agriculture, disaster management, and infrastructure development.

In my freelance work as a Self-Employed consultant in Pakistan, I collected, processed, and analyzed spatial data from satellite, drone, and ground sources for government and private-sector clients. I produced high-quality maps, spatial models, and geospatial reports that directly support planning and decision-making, delivering dozens of GIS projects across climate and land-use related use cases, as well as disaster risk and recovery needs.

I focus on automation and reproducibility, integrating remote sensing data with GIS tools to strengthen confidence in results. I’ve automated geospatial workflows using Python and cloud-based platforms such as Google Earth Engine, while working with GIS software including ArcGIS, QGIS, and ERDAS Imagine, plus remote sensing platforms like ENVI.

My education in GIS and Remote Sensing at Karakoram International University (KIU) strengthened my ability to move from imagery to decisions. Through work analyzing Landsat, Sentinel, and MODIS data, I developed geospatial models for disaster risk assessment, flood mapping, and vulnerability analysis, with research interests spanning glacier monitoring, deforestation, urban growth, and environmental change detection.
