What I'm looking for

I am seeking a hands-on leadership role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, and observability where I can mentor engineers, drive reliability, and scale services.

I am a DevOps leader with over 20 years' experience designing, building and operating resilient systems across enterprise and SMB environments. I combine hands-on engineering with team leadership to deliver reliable, repeatable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

My technical focus is on Azure cloud architecture, IaC, containerisation and automation; I have implemented large-scale migrations, optimized release pipelines and built observability platforms to meet SLAs. I am comfortable working directly with customers and developers to translate requirements into pragmatic solutions.

At Redstor I led a team of DevOps engineers while remaining hands-on: implementing Grafana-based monitoring across multiple data sources, migrating petabytes of customer data, and implementing Entra ID/PIM controls and redundancy for critical services. I have a track record of reducing manual effort through automation and increasing release cadence with CI/CD.

I hold certifications including Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VCP and CCNP, and an Open University Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Networking. I seek roles where I can combine technical ownership, mentoring and operational excellence to drive measurable service improvements.
