Software engineer shipping end-to-end apps, specializing in Swift, TypeScript, and distributed systems.
What I'm looking for
I’m a software engineer who built and shipped production applications end-to-end, focused on reducing latency, improving reliability, and launching products to real users. I specialize in Swift, TypeScript, and distributed systems, and I enjoy turning complex requirements into working, measurable features.
At Hytribe, I architected a full-stack system from SwiftUI async/await concurrency to a Vapor backend with JWT auth, deployed on Fly.io with PostgreSQL (NeonDB) and Redis caching. I reduced database query latency from 2-3s to <100ms (95% improvement), enabling 3x concurrent user capacity, and I built real-time WebSocket chat with idempotent message persistence and zero message loss for up to 200 concurrent users.
I also integrated a triple-model AI companion (Claude API, GrokAI, Llama 3.2 fallback) for guided journaling and achieved 94% precision detecting at-risk language, with safety team surfacing within 5 minutes. From trust & safety infrastructure (device fingerprinting, abuse reporting, audit logging) to offline support with Realm and engagement lift via OneSignal push notifications, I build systems that perform and hold up in production.
